Day one : Arrival in the end of
the morning at the station of Agen. Installation in a hotel** and lunch.
Reception in a prune producer for a diaporama and free tasting. Visit of
Nerac and tour on the touristic train of Albret. Return to the hotel for
the 1/2 pension.
Day two : Visit of the spendid cloister of Moissac
Visit of Auvillar, remarkable village for its circular market. With
Donzac, visit of the "Academy of rurality and trades". Wine
tasting in a producer Coasts of Brulhois, celebrate "black wine".
Return to the hotel for the 1/2 pension.
Day three : Visit of Montauban town founded in 1144, after visit
of Saint Antonin Noble-Val, in the heat of the Gorges of Aveyron.
Day four : Visit of Lectoure, capital of Lomagne perched on a
headland dominating the valley of Gers. Visit the workshop gallery
"blue of Lectoure": in a tannery, of XIIIème century,
extration and production of the blue pastel. Reception on a croustadiere,
demonstration of the manufacture of the gascon croustade with apples and
Armagnac. To lunch, then visit of Auch: famous for its cathedral and for
its stairs with the 370 steps. Return to the hotel for the 1/2
pension.
Day five : Turn of town of Condom, passage by Fources pitturesque
bastide and stop at Larressingle fortress .To lunch , visit of the
Cisterian abbey of Flaran. Stop to Eauze capital of Armagnac and tasting.
Return to the hotel for the 1/2 pension
Day six : After the visit of Agen, reception to the museum of
Foie Gras, visit of the exploitation and tasting the products of the
farm. Then, Pujols, visit of this charming medieval village which
dominates the valley of the Lot. Visit of the Latour Marliac the oldest
seedbed of watery plants in the world.
Return in medium of the afternoon to Agen to take the train for the
return.
In option : the 1/2 pension for a departure Day 7 after the breakfast.
