characteristic rolling countryside and is home to the Brulhois
vineyeards.

Leave Agen in the direction of Le Passage and then take the D119 towards Brax until you come to
Sérignac sur Garonne (10 km), where you can see both the Lateral Canal and the river. This is a Bastide built in 1273, which has retained its square with arcades and some beautiful half-timbered houses.

Go towards Montagnac/Auvignon and then
Ste Colombe en Bruilhois (7km). An ancient fortified village which looks out over the Garonne
Valley. |

Take the D296 then turn left onto the D7 until you reach Moncaut (6km). Panoramic view over the hills. 12th century church.

Continue on the D208 towards Laplume (.4 km). This was once the capital of the Viscounts of
Brulhois. |

Take the D15 towards Astaffort (13 km). Francis Cabrel lives around here and is active in its cultural life. A signposted historical tour covers the main heritage points in the town.

Go towards Agen on the RN21 for 4km and then take a left fork towards
Moirax (6 km) on the D628. Superb Clunisian priory of the 11th century, considered to be one of the jewels of Romanesque art in South-West France. A staging post for pilgrims to Santiago de
Compostella. |
